An accidental ceramicist, Josh’s childhood hobby has evolved into an all-consuming obsession after years of working in finance, international politics and real estate. His work employs texture transfer techniques to capture plants, fabrics or any three-dimensional surfaces that catches his eye.
Irregular shapes and uneven glaze application produce tactile, functional pieces of unique art. His hand-built approach embraces a love of imperfect and organic rawness, which celebrates the attention drawn to the evidence of human touch.
